Getting started

1Open the app and add it to your home screen

BaiPe is a web app, so there is nothing to download from the App Store or Play Store. Open the link in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone) and add it to your home screen. It then opens fast, works without internet, and the browser is less likely to clear your data.

• iPhone: tap the Share button in Safari’s bottom bar, choose "Add to Home Screen", then tap "Add".
• Android: tap "Install now" in the app, or tap Chrome’s ⋮ menu and choose "Install app".
• Computer: click the install icon in the browser’s address bar.

A link opened from a LINE or Facebook chat opens in that app’s own browser, which cannot install apps and may delete your data when it closes. BaiPe does not let you create documents there. Tap ⋯ in the corner and choose "Open in browser" first.

2Enter your details

On the first open the app asks for the details shown on your documents. Every field is optional, and you can change them later in the Settings tab.

• Name (person or shop), taxpayer ID and address.
• PromptPay for payments: your phone number or national ID. The app uses it to build the QR your clients scan to pay.
• Year on document numbers: B.E. or C.E. Numbers and dates use the same calendar across the app.

If you have used BaiPe before and have a backup file (.baipe), tap "Restore it here" on the welcome screen instead.

3Take the 1-minute tour with Nong Bai

After your details, Nong Bai shows you around using sample data: the job card, the status tags, the main button on a document, and the Summary. Sample data is not counted in the summary or in your free documents.

At the end, tap "Create my first document" and Nong Bai clears the samples for you. You can watch it again in Settings → "1-minute app tour".

4Create your first document

On the Documents tab, tap "New document" and go through four steps.

• Client: pick the document type (quotation, invoice or receipt), then choose a client or tap "+ Add new client". You add a client once and reuse it on every document.
• Items: enter the work description, quantity and unit price. Add as many lines as you need, and a discount if there is one.
• Tax: switch on "Withholding tax" if the client is a company, pick the payment due date (7, 15 or 30 days), and add notes.
• Preview: check the document as your client will see it, then tap "Issue + send".

Not ready to send? Tap "Save draft". A draft has no number yet and does not count as a free document. A document gets its number when you issue it, so numbers run in order with no gaps.

5Send it and get paid

When you issue a document, your phone’s share sheet opens. Pick LINE, email or another app to send the PDF, or tap "Download PDF" to keep the file. Documents always print in two languages (Thai / English).

Quotations and invoices carry a PromptPay QR with the amount already set, so the client can scan and pay at once. The QR is made on your device from the PromptPay number you entered. The money goes straight to your account, not through BaiPe.

6Continue the same job

One job is one card. Quotation → invoice → receipt follow from each other with no retyping. Open the document and tap its main button.

• The client agrees to the price: tap "Client accepted", then "Create invoice from this".
• The client pays: tap "Payment received", pick the date, then tap "Issue receipt".
• The due date passes: the invoice turns "Overdue" by itself and moves up under "Needs action". Tap "Send reminder" to send it again.

You do not have to start from a quotation. You can issue an invoice or a receipt directly.

7Change or cancel a document

An issued document cannot be edited, so it always matches the copy your client holds. Changing your name, address or PromptPay in Settings does not change documents you have already issued.

• To change a price or a line: tap "Create revision". It keeps the same number with -R2 added, and the original stays viewable.
• To cancel the whole document: tap "Void this document". Its number is never reused.
• Drafts can always be edited or deleted.

8Withholding tax and 50 bis

Corporate clients usually withhold 3% of your service fee and remit it to the Revenue Department for you, so the transfer is lower than the document total. When "Withholding tax" is on, the app shows "You’ll actually receive" before you send.

BaiPe does not issue the withholding certificate (50 bis). Your client issues it to you. The app tracks which ones you have not received yet.

• When you get the original from the client, tap "Received from client" on that document.
• If the client uses e-Withholding Tax there is no paper certificate. Tap "Client uses e-Withholding Tax".
• The Summary tab lists the 50 bis you have not received, so you can collect them before year-end filing.

The app gives general information only, not tax advice.

9See your income summary

The Summary tab adds up the year: received this year, outstanding, withheld to date, revenue by month and revenue by client. The figures come from invoices you have marked as paid.

Once you unlock, "Tax-season export" makes a document register as a CSV file that opens in Excel and Google Sheets.

10Back up your data

Your documents and client data live only on this device. BaiPe has no copy. If the phone is lost or the browser data is cleared, we cannot recover it, so back up regularly.

• Go to Settings → Backup → "Back up to a file (.baipe)" and keep the file in LINE Keep, email or your own drive.
• Moving phones: open BaiPe on the new phone and choose "Restore from a backup file". The data on the device is replaced by the file’s data, not merged.
• The backup file includes your unlock code and is not password-protected. Keep it somewhere you trust.

Automatic backup to Google Drive is part of the unlock and will open later.

11Free documents and the unlock

You can issue 3 documents for free. Drafts and sample data do not count. After that, your existing documents stay available to view and resend.

The unlock is ฿249, paid once, with no subscription. It gives you:

• Unlimited documents.
• Your logo and signature on documents, and the option to remove the "Made with BaiPe" footer.
• The document register export and 50 bis file attachments.
• Backup and restore with your own Google Drive.

You pay by scanning a PromptPay QR, and the unlock code is sent to your email. On a new device, go to Settings → "Restore purchase" and paste the code. The app checks it on the device, with no internet needed.

12What BaiPe does not do yet

• It cannot issue VAT tax invoices. BaiPe documents carry no VAT, so it suits people who are not VAT-registered.
• It is not accounting software. The Summary is a simple income summary.
• It does not sync between devices. Use one device at a time and move your data with a backup file.
