Is it free?
You can issue 3 documents for free, with the PromptPay QR and withholding tax. After that, a single ฿249 unlock gives you unlimited documents, your logo and signature, the document register export and Google Drive backup — no subscription, yours forever, with every future update at no extra cost.
Does it need internet?
No — after the first open, documents, PDFs and the PromptPay QR are all generated on your device. Airplane mode works fine.
Can it issue VAT tax invoices (ใบกำกับภาษี)?
Not yet. BaiPe is made for freelancers and self-employed people who are not VAT-registered (revenue up to 1.8 million baht a year), so its documents carry no VAT and are not tax invoices. If you are VAT-registered, use accounting software that issues tax invoices and keeps the sales tax report.
Where is my data?
On your device — and, if you turn on backup, in your own Google Drive. BaiPe has no database holding your documents. No account, erase anytime.
Do I need to download it from an app store?
No. BaiPe is a web app: open the link in Chrome or Safari and tap "Add to Home Screen" to get an app icon like any other. Works on Android and iPhone.
Will I lose my data if I change phones?
Not if you back up — send the backup file to your LINE or email, or turn on automatic backup to your Google Drive, then restore on the new phone. Your unlock is restored with the code we email you.
